The Mom's Pillow Story
As a new mom, I struggled a lot with my postpartum mental health. I was tired, lonely and often overwhelmed by the intense rollercoaster of becoming a first-time mom. While therapy was supportive, I didn't know where to go to find mom friends who truly "got me"and I didn't always feel comfortable approaching other moms at the playground. As it turns out, I wasn't alone in what I was experiencing, as the current data on maternal mental health says a lot of moms today feel lonely, burnt out, and unsupported by society.
With that, I created a space where all moms can come together to access meaningful social support--which science has proven as a buffer against stress, anxiety & depression. Mom's Pillow provides all moms a friendly place to be heard, seen, supported by other moms who get it. Because every mom deserves a village.

Community events where Moms can come as they are & connect with other Moms who get it.
MOM'S PILLOW MEETINGS ARE FREE, BUT WE SUGGEST MAKING A DONATION TO THE PILLOW FUND, A COMMUNITY-GENERATED FUND THAT ENSURES WE CAN CONTINUE TO SUPPORT MOMS IN SAN DIEGO.
